Andrés Solís and Riccardo Massari, musicians and composers with residence in Mexico and Spain respectively, develop different music from the use of a new electro-acoustic instrument designed by Massari in 2006 called Tarcordium: string instrument and percussion of great timbral range and dynamic capable of generating shocking sounds and multiple rhythms. This project moves in the fields of sound art, musical composition and improvisation, with the intention of generating new interpretive techniques with unpublished instruments together with electronic and digital tools.

 

TARCORDIUM® TRANSATLANTICUM aims to conduct a series of concerts in Spain and Latin America accompanied by workshops and conferences to disseminate the potential of this incredible instrument and the interpretation techniques of the instrument.
